RCA Camden CAS-2595 Burning Love (and hits from his movies) (Elvis Presley)

cas-2595-cover-front-aBurning Love and Hits From His Movies, Volume 2 (CAS-2595) was released on November 1, 1972 on RCA’s subsidiary label, RCA Camden, a budget label. The contents of the album primarily consists of soundtrack recordings from various Elvis Presley films of the 1960s including both sides of his 1972 hit single, “Burning Love”. This is interesting because RCA generally reserved hit singles for release on the main RCA Victor label, and not the budget Camden label.

The first release of Burning Love and Hits From His Movies, Volume 2 contained an insert, their is a yellow starburst printed on the cover to indicate this. This release is difficult to obtain in mint condition or complete. A later release will remove the starburst from the cover.
